The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire's Volunteer Coordinator Laurie Galletta addresses some of the Frequently Asked Questions about volunteering at the ARL.
The ARL depends on volunteers to accomplish its mission. Currently there are nearly 270 volunteers working at the shelter. Some come in almost every day, some once a week or once a month, and some participate a few times a year.
270 sounds like a lot, but the ARL still has need of help. Even volunteering one day a month can ease the workload and have a tremendous positive impact on the lives of the animals in the ARL's care.
Pretty much every shelter needs help, so even if you don't live in New Hampshire you can help out in your community. It is immensely rewarding to help out even a little bit!
