  • Man; I CRIED when Grover died. I had the privilege of seeing him four times in concert. He was the epitome of elegance--polished, professional, warm, humble, AND talented. Thanks so much for this great post.

  • One cannot help but wonder; How many amazing musical masterpieces did our, and coming generations miss out on, by loosing this great talent? 56 years old... Just.. Why?

  • i have only just discovered Grover am gutted hes not with us, he s so full of lovely music and life .....

  • amazing. I'm growing to enjoy jazz more and more each day

  • Has anyone seen the Greatest Sports Legends tribute to Julius Erving? Let it Flow

is part of the soundtrack to some of the Doctor's greatest plays. There is however, another urban jazz tune played over the ending credits when the Doctor and Ken Howard are shooting hoops, a very familiar upbeat tune which I think may be

another of Grover Washington's hits. If anyone knows that tune, please let me

    know.

  • Seen him once and it was an AWESOME performance.... truly missed and such a wonderful musician.

  • My mother and grandma got me into Grover at a very young age even though I was too young to understand jazz and how to play sax. Grover was one of my inspirations to playing Alto Sax growning up. So thanks Grover and R.I.P.
