#28 Claude Giroux
#84 Danny Briere

NHL star forwards Claude Giroux and Danny Briere played their first game for defending German champions Eisbären Berlin tonight, and they certainly left an impression, combining for six scoring points. The two played on the same line for most of the game with Giroux as center and Briere on the wing. Briere, who had three assists and six shots on goal, was often seen battling behind the net, setting up Berlin's first goal smoothly. Giroux scored a game-tier in the third period on a beautiful wrist shot and assisted twice. Not surprisingly, the pair looks sure to create immense offensive danger whenever on the ice. Playing their first competition game since May and facing the best defense / goaltender of the league today, it was evident that Briere and Giroux will be a force for Berlin in the DEL - as they would be on any NHL team.

However they ended up on the losing side tonight facing superior opposition from Cologne who went into the game topping the league with a 8-1 record after nine games. Coached by German hockey legend and two-time Stanley Cup winner Uwe Krupp, Cologne managed to narrowly defend a 6-5 win after giving up the lead three times in a thrilling game. The contest was played on a remarkably high phyiscal and technical level which at times resembled the speed and accuracy of NHL hockey.

Kölner Haie (Cologne Sharks), an eight-time German champion now in their fourtieth season as a franchise, are an ice-hockey club with a rich history framed by the best German and foreign players ever to have played in Germany's top hockey league. Between 1981 and 2008, the Sharks achieved a German record 27 consecutive playoff berths, winning the Championship 1977, '79, '84, '86, '87, '88, '95 and '02. In 1989 and again in 1995, the club reached the final of the European Cup competition losing to CSKA Moscow and Jokerit Helsinki, respectively.

Eisbären Berlin have won the German championship six times altogether, winning every German Championship in the last eight years except 2007 and 2010. That year saw the club winning the European Trophy, though (successor of the European Cup competition). Before German reunification the club was known as SC Dynamo Berlin and played in the formerly Communist part of Germany, winning the East German ice hockey championship 15 times.

the main reason english is known as one of the hardest languages to learn because its a complicated vowel and consonant language. ask any linguist what the top three hardest languages are. i bet english is one of them. german is a much simpler language. listen, i dont really care that much. you obviously care way too much. youre wrong, but im done arguing with you. this is stupid.

english is the 2nd most difficult language to learn. theres nothing easy about learning english. i know tons of people that have english as their 2nd or 3rd language and they all say it was really hard to learn. we have words that sound the same but mean different things. like- there, theyre, and their. or piece and peace. theres tons of words like that. also, our sentence structure is really hard to learn. german, spanish, and french are some of the easier languages to learn.

Its for leaving a comment about the Video. And english is only most widely spoken because it is the easiest language on this planet. That doesn't make it beautiful.
