downforce doesnt add more speed. the spoiler adds drag on the car and reduces aerofynamics, which in turn slows the car down. down force just adds traction and stabillity.

You can get 260-261mph (418-420kph) if you take rear wing off. But be careful though because near top speed it gets tail happy and taking the rear wing off is not advised for anything other than drag racing.
