UC Irvine Walkout March 4 2010

The moment has come, the walkout taking place on UC Irvine, this time outside of the main campus. People chant against privatization of the university, increasing university costs, racial discrimination against minorities, and war oversees. They march and gather to fight for their education against further increase in costs. This is actually one of my last footage of the protest but I upload this is first, I did not expect this protest will get this far...Their chants I remember includes "No Justice, No peace," "Say Cut Back, We say Fight Back," and more...

That's why people protest, UC school is way more expensive than Cal State Schools. I heard stories that UC schools are soon to be privatized in which that the costs will significantly increase. I just want to know what privatizing means though. I never thought this protest will go this far and maybe out of control though...
