This is a simple two footed plyometric drill. The jumper works over a series of platforms going from the lowest to the heighest platform.
The aim is to be continuous and ensuring that all the plyometric criteria are met.
Full-footed landings on the floor, no excessive compression behind the knee on landing on the floor, limited contact time on the floor and most importantly to USE THE STORED MUSCLE TENSION IMMEDIATELY.
Note that the jumper finishes off the bounding/rebounding sequence with a DROP and FREEZE.
You could do 3 sets of the patforms [in this case 5 platforms]. Have 60 seconds recovery between sets.
This drill would be one of several in a typical plyometric training unit. You might even employ the use of a weighted vest with 5-10k loading.
