Vlad the Impaler - the true story of Dracula explores the temporal course of Vlad the Impaler's life. It shows the house he was born in - still standing high in its pride, today; the ruins of the Court Town of Tirgoviste -- where Vlad lived in three separate times, reigning over Vallachia; the medieval Castle of Hunedoara -- the only Transylvanian Castle that ever connected Vlad to Transylvania; and most importantly documents Vlad had signed as Ruler of the Principality of Vallachia. This is Vlad's true story, as a human being.

  • Thanks for dropping by, Niculita!!!

  • @mikealphalimaindia Why the phook would you need to pass Romania to get to Vienna, unless you are incredibly retarded...to get to Vienna with your army from Constantinopol, you need to go through Serbia/Hungry/Croatia not Romania! Plus it's not like you filthy stinkin' turks never lost huge armies to us Romanians against incredible odds, remember "Battle of Vaslui" 46.000 Moldavian Romanians against 176.000 gipsy turks...little over 1000 turks survived that day, we had only 4000 casualties!

  • He is just a little fish in Ottoman history.I don't know why he's so big of a deal in the West! He was a "guest" at Sultan's court and I think there he was abused,he learned the implaing from Turks and then he was captured by Hungarians ,released to fight Turks and was assasinated by one of Sultan's assassins. where is the glory or success in this life i don't get it. FYI for ppl who think Ottomans could not pass Romania. We sieged Vienna 2 times so passed over Romania like walk in the park

  • @crawhip2 : Romania wasn't a principality. Romania, during the middle ages, consisted of the principalities of Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania.

  • we would need one like him now so the governments would nor rob the country like they did till now

  • Transylvania was part of austria-hungary back then He only took the name from vlad tepes and made his count dracula, a szekely magyar nobleman.

bless your heart.. your not very well read and seem to get your information from what you can watch on tv or here.. try spending a little time researching a topic before you jump on a POPULAR band wagon.. yes this adaptation was somewhat crude but your comment was so hilariously simple minded i could not help but comment.
