Social media offers many new opportunities for organizations to solve today's communication challenges. Social media strategy is about building and maintaining relationships with peers, colleagues and customers in the online communities where they are increasingly most comfortable. Syracuse University (SU) has recognized that social media is changing the way we "think" and act, online and off. From interactive wallpaper to the Obama campaign, social media is undisputedly playing a role in every aspect of our lives.
This charrette was comprised of 36 handpicked students from each of the colleges at Syracuse University, to include: the School of Information Studies, School of Architecture, The College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, The College of Human Ecology, College of Law, The Martin J. Whitman School of Management, The College of Visual and Performing Arts, SI Newhouse School of Public Communications, and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
