Snake or a Fish (Alibaug-Kashid beach)

We found a Snake like Fish at Alibaug during our recent trip to Kashid beach. Listen to comments from Pradeep and Tushar. From other similar videos on youtube I guess it looks like a reed fish or Erpetoichthys calabaricus or ropefish. Since we found this in sea water and since reedfish is freshwater the suspense still remains. Any opinion or views are most welcome.

its called maniar saap ... ( now i don't know technicalities but yes it looks like an eel.)

its an eel at 0:15 u can see then front fins

I thought of the same but eels have no pelvic fins, and many species also lack pectoral fins. They also have a fused single ribbon along the body both characteristics were absent in this one.
