Formed originally in Cahir, Co. Tipperary in 1979, Fair Exchange took a 23 year break in 1983. They reformed in 2006 to write and release a single "Hope"/"Beach Party" in aid of the Chernobyl Children's Project, to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. After gigging extensively in the South East during the Spring/Summer 2006, original Bass Guitarist Alan Harris left the band. This clip of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here is taken from the first Live Performance of Fair Exchange as a 4 piece with Charlie O' Neill on lead vocals, acoustic guitar, Johnny Casey Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals, Deckie O' Dwyer Lead guitar, Skat , Backing Vocals. Joe Shine, Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocal
