Right, Black Lion was Afrika bambaataa. He is considered one of the pioneers of hip-hop (the frontman of SoulSonic Force) and so was put into the Black Lion (the leader's lion) because of that.

Aw maaan...I haven't seen this commercial in AGES. Let me see if I can remember who's who.
1st lion = Goodie Mob. I can hear C-Lo green and Big Gip prominently.
2nd lion = Fat Joe. Unmistakable.
3rd lion = Common A.K.A. Common Sense.
4th lion = Mack 10.
5th Lion = Afrikaa Bambatta if I'm not mistaken.
