This is Mail Box with Sheikh Yusef Estes. It's a show on HudaTv.Basically the Sheikh answers questions. This episode is about being depressed and whether watching t.v. is haraam. I think this is excellent what the Sheikh is doing. We all need to ask a question relating to our deen from time to time. And we can't always get our questions answered via email and the like.Insha'Allah I plan on uploading more episodes.

@amerzeb07 true , in these world we are restricted while in paradise we can have what we want beccause Allah swt made paradise for everlasting place for muslims and the prophets (peace for all of them)

@arklowrockz it is because we are limited to do stuff in the earth and are not in paradise. it is a test for a muslim in this world, to obey God and his messenger. Hope it helps

@amerzeb07 "Inshallah, we muslims will have fun in the hereafter..." That is the most unintentionally truthful thing I have ever heard from a muslim. Ask yourself this much Amerzeb? Why would all these things that are haram on earth suddenly be halal in paradise. Would they all still not offend Allah?

Listen to how silly that idea sounds: In paradise I will get to watch TV programmes for infinity. Sounds like hell to me to be honest....

@AasiyahAmatullah ......uuummm, I thought Islam was a system of religious belief and not a racial characteristic? So I don't quite see how I was being racist.

Perhaps you are a young viewer and don't understand such distinctions, in which case I forgive you.

Also: Aasiyah, your system of beliefs should be able to stand up to a small amount of scrutiny, would you not agree?
