Stone Circle Opatija - Visual Art Interpretation Ljubo de Karina

Audiovisual Interpretation of the art of Ljubo de Karina, Croatian Sculptor. I tried to put the meaning of these monumenal sculptures, mainly referring to the croatian glagolitic heritage and standing at many geomantic points (Kvarner/northern Adriatic) into my audiovisual world. Main goal was to put the static character of stone sculpturing into an audiovisual continuum emphasizing moods, movements and my individual perception. iḿ still working on a symbiosis of performing and fine arts and so far i did not find any other known approach to combining sculpturing with video and audio art in synthesis. So here we go. I like to thank ljubo de karina (living near Brsec in a wonderful private gallery) for his wonderful spirited and overwhelmingly art and knowledge about kvarner and croatian history. In my view he is one of the most recognizeable southeast european artists.
