"Regeneration" = State Sponsored Land Grab. It seems to be the same tactics applied all over the world. They claim to consult and foster community empowerment and participation, but in reality you are ignored while the area you live in is deliberately degenerated and depopulated - people are bought out for a pittance, dispossessed and displaced. They call it "the greater good" - we know it's the greater greed.

Do you know why 'no one gives a toss'? Well its because we exist in a GOD- less society' Authoritarians go on a so called 'power trip' to indulge in these insane actions of injustice. They find great fulfilment in their ways as the Roman power lords did entertaining themselves watching the sufferings of 'lesser mortals' in the arenas. The teachings of Christ are ignored as they pragmatically & insanely carry out their actions. Eventually all flesh will expire & give account in their next life!

I lived on 'Shelton New Road' in Stoke-On-Trent. Myself and my house mate were evicted and made homeless so they could create a pile of rubble.
They actually did a report that said that housing in Stoke were too cheap and therefore were not an attractive investment for property speculators and banks...Solution knock loads down to create a housing shortage driving up prices!!!
Thankfully the guy behind it all (Mark Meredith) has just be arrested over the scam...I doubt if he will serve time.

so saddenning, where are these people who have lived in these alleged 'rundown' estates going to go? these are the people who make stoke stoke, whose families worked on the pot banks, generations of tradition and pride, not to romanticise, but this is real history, and no one gives a toss.

I grew up on a rough council estate in bow ,east london , it was run down and there was problems on the estate, but we loved our area because we knew every1 and we had good times. we wanted our area to be regenrated but not knocked down. we was promised affordable housing has a result we have 60% luxary apartments and 40% council. i hate liven here now because its not the same area nomore and the area is cleaner and more attractive, but there is no life in the community. i could go on and on....
