I agree, the ROWE AMI CD Changer Mechanism is a standard part. Purchasable from Rowe International or Betson Pacific. Also mp3 quality is inferior to that of Compact Discs. After working for a company which did nothing but high qualty sound and installed sound systems in 18 Fatburgers with the exception of the on on Ventura Blvd, with Rowe bubblers, there is a difference.

How much was it ,and do you need to know about repairs to do it.i have a rowe and an ipod this looks like a great idea.

Are you missing the point, When you buy a juke box you buy for the old looks, sound and feel. Far from technology. If you want to connect an ipod it defeats the object of the machine dont ya think.

Yes, you have a good point. However when certain parts fail, as in this case the stock CD player. It is hard to find one that still works to replace it. This Ipod kit solves many problems.
I have owned vintage Seeburg jukeboxes and I agree that this type of equipment would not be appropriate for those. But to each his own!
