@GuoBia I haven't seen the new Three kingdom series and isn't too interested in it. Plenty of old music are frequently reused. Have you never seen a HOllywood movie? Very few of them have original scores. A large majority of the soundtrack here is also from previous Huayi productions (Huayi produced this television series). And yes, Huayi works with major world studios like Fox and Universal, so I think it's very plausible they have rights.

@lightronger Let's put it this way. China doesn't have (enforced) laws on intellectual property. Do you think that it's plausible that this one Chinese company got the rights from Warner Brothers *and* what seems like the 1991 release of the Cinema Paradiso soundtrack? I know that WB strictly reserves Harry Potter movie rights and does not give them to be used commercially for unrelated media. Why are we even arguing about this? Do you like the new Three Kingdoms series?

@lightronger So you think that the makers of this series paid a cent to whoever owned the movie? I'm sure Warner Bros was happy to let them use the Harry Potter theme!

@GuoBia A lot of movies + television don't have original soundtracks but instead PAY to use pre-made museum. That doesn't mean it was stolen =_=. It's like how not all movies design original clothes buy them from shops.

@GuoBia this series stole a lot of bg music. the very 1st episode used the bg music from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire extensively.

The song at 1:38 is from the classic movie Cinema Paradiso- that's plagiarism and they should not do that, stealing other people's music like that!!
