This video is part 7 of our Shomudo hermitage pilgrimage in Japan july 2011.
It is the first time that the sacred places of mount Sanjo was filmed.

This is an "ethnologic" exceptional document, especialy for the students of Mirail University at Toulouse city who study SHUGENDO inside Anthropology cours this year...
To do the 21 places (3 omote + 18 ura) before monastery and backside, it's took about 1 hour.
This is an "initiatic Labyrinthe" since 1.300 years ago...
Inside shugendo world, by past, each beginer who climbed mount Sanjo for the first time must did these places. Now when Kuban go to Japan especialy Sanjo mount, he always go to these places to pray since 1983.
This film is dedicaced to all women inn world, especialy Yamabushi ones, because mount Sanjo stiil stay the last mountain in Japan forbiden to climb to women, perhaps not for a long time now.
