The Florida House State Affairs Committee, Thursday, APRIL 21 at 11am, will vote on House Bill 7241. Bill creates a state mandate on local governments in regards to their pension plans with public employees. House Bill 7241 creates a cookie cutter mold for every local plan regardless of the fiscal sustainability and solvency of the plans. This bill would allow the cities to gut pensions, giving them a bail out on their responsibilities to their employees.

They (the teabaggers) are anti-democratic. It should be up to the firefighters, police officers, teachers, etc. to vote and decide if they want check-off or not. The Chamber of Commerce should butt out.

The US Chamber of Commerce is just part of the actual factual vast right wing Koch-network of privatizationists, corporatists, and monied interests who only wish to see public service eradicated so they can profit from its privatization and force the poor to do without.
