  • This little momma was simply trying to find a place to move on to...there was no need to harrass her!! I've been a wildlife rehabber for over 17 years and opossums are the safest of all. They are not prone to rabies or other viruses. Humans are the only pest earth has....classic example here.

  • @willnayler Actually there are people who can remove animals humanely and place them in an area away from people. Possums are one of the least destructive and more harmless of wild-life that finds itself leaving near people.

  • They are awesome!

  • Asshole!

  • Oh my, poor little soul, all those youngsters out of her pouch now. No welfare for this mama. I have 2 or 3 opossums that come to my porch at night for the sunflower seeds. They run off the skunks. I like that causee skunks make me nervous.

  • LOL, what a jackass

  • Its easy enough to research everyone....opossums are not a carrier of Rabies as this Wonderful Wombat idiot has said!!! It's sad to see people run their mouths on a topic they know nothing about. I've rehabbed wildlife for over 18 years with a master in Wildlife Biology. Opossums are almost NEVER found to have rabies, they're body temp is too low!!!!

  • @TheWonderfulWombat OMG are you really that IGNORANT???? Please eduacate yourself before speaking.....Opossums body temp is an average of 94-95 degrees and not high enough for the virus to incubate...for heavens sake look it up. It very rare if EVER you will find a case of rabie in opossums!!! Raccoons, skunks, fox etc... have body temps of 101.8 just like dogs and cats....warm blooded animals are the carriers because of the higher body temp. Seriously try EDUCATION!

  • @BG7774 They are one of the major carriers of rabies, only surpassed by raccoons. Don't pet wild possums, people.

  • would have been nice if he held the camera still!

  • @BG7774 This opossum is not afraid of people. The guy w/ the camera is actually doing them a favor so they learn to stay away from humans... (moron, think before you write shit)
