All the elements from the High Desert cities and neighboring Inland Empire come out to play every December 1! From Barstow to Fontana, the Victorville parade is the most exciting Southern California parade between Thanksgiving and New Years! There are amazingly different entries for this parade. Notably unique entries include Star Wars vehicles and characters, Mariachi, and other unusual floats. One of the storm troopers even asks me if my video taping was authorized by command.. ;)

For those whom want a higher quality copy of this, it is available in DVD and 1080i HD formats. For computer, it is available as unprotected Quicktime H.264 format compatible with Apple TV and other devices including iPod with little or no down conversion necessary.

  • Back in the 60's we use to watch all the parades at 7th and B St. That is when VV was downtown. And they use to toss candy.

  • Candy? Perhaps the American Dental Association put the kibosh on that one!

  • YES!!! That's the Good Ole IEFF marching in the Star wars costumes! We marched in 2006, 2007, and 2008, but due to certain people in white armor who can't keep thier word, we won't be there this year. :"(

  • ah the good old 7th street Christmas parade. I'll be marching in it this year.

  • You do if you want to fuck with his head.

  • As a Canadian, there is this little voice in the back of my head that says 'That can't be Christmas. There's no snow. Like WTF'.

  • Did they have Christmas parades back in the early to mid 1980s? I was stationed at George from '82 to '85 and don't ever remember Christmas parades or Memorial Day parades.
