This is my amazing one eyed Paint horse named Scout. He is an amazing horse and not just because he has one eye. He jumps about 3ft and is really good in English/Western events.
Sadly we had to put him down 2/8/09. What caused us to put him down was the fact that the cancer he had in his eye spread through his body and there was nothing we could do to save him.

my horse has uvietis or moon blindness which over time causes blindness in one eye! she has to wear that same guardian mask day and night alll the time because she is so sensitive to the u.v rays of the sun! its getting worse and she can only see shadows in that eye and is in pain so were are most likely having the eye removed soon, hopefully she recovers well and looks just as pretty as your boy did with only one eye!

My horses eye ruptured. they tried surgery but it got worse and made her blind. her eye had to be removed. 14 day recovery and then she was working again. she jumps totally normal. Ill put up a video soon.

wow! this is odd! me and you are in the same situation, my horse motion had his eye taken out yesterday because he had a tumor in it, he's not coping very well though, i hope he pulls through :( ill post a video soon

Aw very sweet. I'm watching vids like this right now b/c my horse just got his eye out today. He has cancer too and I;ve been fighting it for 2 yrs. Thanks for sharing this with us, and Scout was beautiful.

My horse has one eye too, he is a pintaloosa, but he had no problem at all! :) I didnt riding him yet. Your horse is realy beauty full :)

That si so sweet. I like Scout not only because he has one eye but he has to trust you more when you ride him.
