Snow Fairy seems to be the only European horse having any kind of measure of success racing in Japan. Sahpresa ran another outstanding race in the Mile Championship, but once again found 2 or 3 of the Japanese horses beyond her. Immortal Verse was really never a threat in this race, nor was Dancing Rain in the Q.E.II Commemorative Cup. The European horses all struggled in last year's Japan Cup, too. Well behind the Japanese horses. Hope to see that reversed this year.
