Hey all,

This is a update to my status and also to show some video shot from the new camera with a new toy I bought the Rode NTG-2 with boom pole. You will hear a bit of wind noise cause I do not have a deadcat sock for the mic yet that is next on my list.

Enjoy!

  • if anyone can help me with using the pro 88 audio technica on the sony ax2000 i would love you forever.

  • Hello, I've recently bought the NTG microphone too (Sony AX2000E too!), but when I do the review playback on my computer, it seems there are no difference with or without the microphone. What's wrong? Do I actually need to do other settings first?

    Hearing from you soon, thanks!

  • nice test, do a test when you got the deadcat :)

  • What the main difference between your camera the ax2000 and the nx5.

  • hi dad

  • Cool Vid. Who holds the boom pole for you when your on camera? Just Curious. Have you ever considered a wireless mic? They can be nice when shooting outdoors. Best Wishes bud! :)

  • @BroBryce2009 I made my own deadcat by not looking good enough when I backed up the van.

  • OK I need a video camera that has a HIDE MY BALD SPOT feature. My kids are always pointing it out lol

  • Why did you get this and not the NX5?

  • RickVanMan's got an AWESOME DIY video for making your own deadcat!
