This video emerged from the practice and play of participants at one of the BloomBars' drama workshops focusing on social action and dialogue.

These workshops, which occurred over the month of April, focused on developing artistic responses to the revolutions currently underway in the Middle East. In the video, we are specifically reflecting on the story of Mohammed Bouazizi, who's desperate actions, some say, started the revolutions. We are using a few different physical theatre games to construct physical images inspired by the story. The text that is read is from Marc Fisher's Washington Post story about the revolutions, published on March 27, 2011. The music is from a song called Reckoner, by the UK band Radiohead.

BloomBars is working to inspire and unite communities through the arts. Our goal is to help foster personal and collective growth while cultivating a legion of artists to be the catalyst for community transformation across the globe.
BloomTV gives artists a louder voice and issues larger platform.
