This White-necked Raven was part of the Raptor Awareness Program by the World Bird Sanctuary during the Bald Eagle Watch 2009 at Starved Rock State Park. People would hand donations for the Sanctuary to the Raven and s/he would put the donations in the box, sometimes folding them first.

    I didn't know there are white-necked ravens -- they are supposed to be native to SE Africa! How did this guy wind up in Starved Rock, IL???
