Good demonstration! Ironically enough you mention ridding the water of parasites using the still, yet eat a grasshopper which can carry tapeworm or fluke without cooking it. I think the solar still would be more effective for desalinization than for regular water purification. Your "cup" was metal, pour the water through a bandana and boil it, and you will have much more drinkable water much quicker with less margin for error.

Excellent Solar Still video. We haven't the sun angle to make it work here in Maine, but I'm glad it's being used in Fla. Excellent presentaiton. Much Respect.
