That generation TL didn't Really have 270 hp. Acura Used an older testing procedure to rate HP. In 2006 they listed it at 258hp. They are still very fast cars. They really run neck and neck with the 02-03 Maxima. Just depends on driver and getting the jump on the other guy basically. 4 speed vs 4 speed, 6 speed vs 6 speed. I still love my Maxima though.

honda makes the most reliable engines, but nissan makes reliable engines that perform and reliable cars that have style, performance, luxury, good mpg and SOUND GREAT (other than the 4cyl's). u gotta compare the maxima to the accord because thats both companies base products, the TL and I35 or M35/45 is the right comparison. maxima blows accord out of the water in every dimension so im not even gunna start. Maxima is a four door japanese muscle car!
