Shocking ignorance but not surprising for a left wing newspaper, a Times columnist tries to justify the whole EUSSR project, and that the UK electorate should be falling over themselves in gratitude to the destruction that Tony Blair / Gordon Brown have done to the UK, and welcome a president Blair.

Recorded from BBC's This Week, 29 October 2009.

  • To clarify, The Times is lefty leaning of recent years, despite the odd story here and there, they have let New Labour have an easy ride of things. It is not the paper it was in the late 80's / early 90's with things like it's investigative team (Insight IIRC they where called).

  • Was that a party political broadcast by Kamm.

Why are the establishment media trying to pimp the war criminal Blair anyway, the plebs dont get a vote.

old habits die hard i guess

Does Blair pay for this promotion, or is it on expenses.

I wonder if any of them will put forward Farage.

  • their columnists certainly seem to be

  • Haha I guess I can't disagree with that statement.

  • With New Labour in power no wonder it pays to be right-wing. :-)

  • I'd support Blair - well, his legs that is whilst I put the noose around his neck!

Get over Iraq?Isn't that the biggest problem here? Number one - how do you get over something that is still happening? Number two - would the hierarchy get over a citizen's wrongs because it happened a while ago?

The problem at present is not whether he is guilty of war crimes, but why the questions are never asked by the right authorities.

This guy will see the end of Britain as a nation and sell us to Europe.

  • Blair should be put on trial hes a disgrace

  • i just cannot believe this. blair is soiled goods. he must not be considered for this. what is this guy on about? is this really the voice of the times? milliband says blair stops traffic!!! there must be a job where he would be useful!!

  • Rebekah Brooks had to blatantly lurch The Sun to the right-wing of British politics to make sure she landed her cushy promotion up to News International, so it obviously pays to be a right-winger under Murdoch.

  • Interesting I thought Diane Abbott abstained from the call for a referendum. To bring democracy to the EU would mean the end of the project of overbearing political control - this is going to get very messy.
