Motive Industries is Calgary's premier automotive engineering firm and is a leading player worldwide in the development of alternative fuel vehicle technology. Motive's electric vehicles are some of the world's most famous and have been seen everywhere from XPrize rosters, Star Trek (2009) to Chip Foose. This news clip shows Motive trying out a new hemp-based product to replace fiberglass in its model cars. Featuring Motive founder and principal engineer, Nathan Armstrong.

  • See Fords Hemp Car - 10X stronger and impact resistant then steel - much lighter - less pollution - easier to repair - and when it ends up in the dump a hemp car body will break down much faster - yes, it's an old idea - but with advances with technology etc... it's an idea whose time has come. RE - legalizing Hemp would start numerous new multi billion dollar industries - paper, clothes, building materials, auto bodies... last comment cool style on this car. I'd buy one!
