Robofish Dream Build Play 2011 Trailer

This is our submission into the Dream Build Play contest, coming soon to Xbox Live Indie Games.

Robofish is a thrilling undersea adventure following the escapades of our hero, a state-of-the-art robotic fish designed specifically to destroy the scourge of the sea: the Radioactive Underwater Mafia. Set in a colorful underwater environment, Robofish is a dual-stick shoot 'em up for all ages. Customize his weapons to devastating effect at the innovative weapons factory, and then guide him through the ranks of R.U.M. to put an end to this evil organization of aquatic villains! As players loot pearls from their fallen foes they will be able to purchase upgrades and more powerful components for their weapons at the shop. With over a dozen ways to customize each weapon and even more upgrades available, players can create billions of possible weapons! Players get the chance to wield this vast variety of firepower with deadly authority throughout the campaign mode's sixteen levels. For even more oceanic obliteration, players can test their customized weapons against an unending onslaught of R.U.M. assassins in survival mode!

Thanks! It is actually in play testing right now if you want to check it out in it's current state. On a side note, I purchased Decimation X3 last night - its a lot of fun. I pretty much suck at it thought, haha. Need some practice.

I think it looks great. Visually, it would benefit from having some sort of glow/animation/particle effects on the menu screens, as it is they look very static compared to the very dynamic gameplay.

@StargliderX Thanks for the suggestion!  We definitely agree that the menu screens could use some improvement, we'll keep that in mind!

Looks awesome and I wish you luck but the game doesn't look as good as it did before, not sure why. Still an excellent title and I can't wait.

@Sparkrift it helps to use the bumper to slow you down in decimation x3 to navigate the enemy bullet stream. in fact i mostly hold it down and let it go when i want to move fast. it's a concept born in japanese shooters. try it! (and thanks!)

I think the gameplay is looking just gorgeous! The only thing I would want to improve is the user interface. I feel like it doesn't seem to hit the same standard in terms of visuals as the gameplay.

I can't wait to pick this up!

@Sparkrift Visually, I preferred the zoomed in camera and the neon fishy. I'm sure the game is a blast, though!
