  • oh rawanda.

    oh ethopia.

    oh somalia.

  • it hurts to watch people get slaughtered. dallaire did what he could.

  • @stephanotogo Thank you for your comments about Gen. Dallaire. I have not been in Rwanda but have read his book and many other things. The judgements of many posting here are hollow. He was put in a hellish situation with no resources. Kudos to you all for a noble effort in an impossible situation.

  • 2:00 ha ha wrong one look over here in united kingdom that one is munya murenge

miau miau OS SS LEOPARD apple mac

  • I was there as Canadian soldier (French canadian) during Gen. Dallaire commands. I am still suffering from it I have to tell you he is more than an hero. When you are a soldier, you have to excecute to matter what are the situation because that's the way it is. He made decision that NONE of Politicians from Belgium, France (Francois Mittérand), USA (Clinton) etc. was able to make. I want to vomit when I hear Belgium and French complaining because they did nothing to prevent genocide.

  • @channel8ify Lt. General Romeó Dallaire did everything and anything possible, if you think , he did not. I am obliged to set it straight : Rwanda is black Africa without any natural resources. and is dependant from outside help. at the same time their was war in the midst of Europe. Lt.General Dallaire was send for a peace KEEPING mission thus after the negotiations to cease all hostilities and signed agreements not to negotiate PEACE he was stripped away from resources as material and men

  • I think that Mr. Dallaire should have save the lives of every baby he had held.

  • hero ? for fuck sake he left 10 soldiers for death ...i dont blame him for that death far from that but he could have done something he just did nothing....what kind of hero does that?

  • Not a savior but rather the main helper of a torturer Mr Kagame. Dallaire the dummy helped Kagame seize power by shooting down president Habyarimana 's plane. this triggered the genocide. This silly dummy of Dallaire is an accomplice of Kagame and enjoys a reputation he doesn't deserve. Shame on this little man !!!!!

  • @xfgher In spite of Rwandan well established governing system and stability, despite Rwandan knowledge of metal, wood, medicine and agro-pastoral capabilities, we did not develop our country because we locked ourselves inside Rwanda and did not incorporate foreign minds and that ideology cost us bid deal, but we never faced starvation, epidemic or civil war, until 60s under Belgium rule. That's why we reversed trends now by empowering women, supporting private institutions and opening up to out

  • @xfgher Rwanda is not a new country, Rwanda has 20 unbroken centuries of well established and centralized governing system, and it’s the only African nation never lost a single person to slavery. Rwanda had towns and cities with roads from and to every corner of the country way before Europeans arrive, and Rwanda was wider than it’s today. The partition of Africa by Europeans left Rwanda smal, but same social fabric stretching from Congo to Uganda via Rwanda, with one common language as identity

  • @xfgher No one in Rwanda blames Belgium. Yes, Belgium politicians made countless mistakes during their tutoring period in Rwanda, but we Rwandans always blame ourselves and that’s unique for Rwanda in entire African continent, and that’s why you will never see any act of violence against foreign individuals living in Rwanda, not Belgium’s nor French neither Congolese would tell you they were attacked in Rwanda. We do criticize Belgium's for their mistakes in our country, but we blame ourselves

  • found something intersting about this conflict .In belgium you have 2 regions ; the flemish side and the walloon side. the walloon french speaking were in control of rwanda and supported the tutsi . in our country the walloon also kind of opressed the flemish people by language and jobs . later more and more flemish people went to rwanda , supporting the hutu ,as they saw the same thing as in belgium , one kind of people opressing another kind. This shows that wedidn'tsupportthediscrimination

  • @kingoftheuniverse14

what did you do to help ? belonging to the 'good' side doesnt make you a better person than me ...

there were nazis that were more human than americans , belgians who did more than canadians , ... anyways , i'm against all the 'heroism' of leaders and countries. there are people whosuffer because of those 'heroes' too . there is never a good thing without a negative side ...

  • @kirundo1 seems like weve both got eachother wrong :)

it seemed like you were angry at belgium for sending soldiers there to help ( -> so i replied why dont you solve the problem yourselves ) anyways, many people seem to think in some weird way that belgium started the conflict in central africa . I don't know where it comes from but it's as far as I know completely false.

I'm not against helping , i'm against UN rules preventing armies to help... ( kroatia ,somalia ,serbia ,congo ,rwanda...

  • @xfgher You asked me a strange question as to why don’t you guys solve your own problems in Africa? That was not African problem, it was human evil nature. It did happen before in Europe, in Asia, in North America every where. When you see women raped, defenseless people wiped out, you don’t ask that type of question! You stop the evil, God sake. What’s wrong with you? May-be you never studied human evolvement and history. What about the Allies and Red Army in Europe in 1944?

  • @xfgher You got me wrong first of all. I don’t want to involve their families because I know it’s hard for them to, I was just referring to the fact that these peace keeping soldiers act stupidly by following UN rules of engagement whereas they are there to stop a calamity. Did you see General Romeo Dallaire’s leadership? That was more than bravery, it was leadership at its best. Don’t involve families of any one of those died soldiers, please. I did not mention any thing about family

  • @Xaymaicana

that would be the king of belgium , congo was his garden , private property . it was'nt till the sixties that it became part of belgium...

  • @kirundo1

say that again after you have your balls cut out and stuffed in your mouth, like those soldiers...

say all those things to the parents , wifes and children of those soldiers...

Why don't you guys solve your own problems in africa ?

  • @Xaymaicana

well i have to reply to that , beeing a belgian . as a matter of fact . congo was the "garden" of our dictator-king leopold. He owned it , and wasn't state property.

  • @xfgher you must be belgium? and obviously you sound stupid. A soldier ranked: commandos as those belgiums claimed, should have defended themselves, but could not fire even one shot? what type of commando is that or are they? By the way, do you know that Romeo Dallaire's father was among soldiers who put their lives on line to save Belgium in world war 2 ??? Belgium commandos are best at nothing.

  • We, ordinary Rwandans, believe that Romeo Dallaire is the only true living General, the rest are just.............freakin' shit

  • @mccahagan Fuck you too if you don't tell me who caused it!!!

  • @TheBashir85 Fuck you I you were a Real African and Proud of your Country then you shouldn't be ''talking stupid" be wise you don't have to blame yourself U are not the one who caused it so don't call people Including yourself Stupid !
