GORN FIGHT - THE TRUTH

I taught myself to speak GORN then messed with the sound levels a little from this documentary footage in order to isolate and then amplify the ululations (whilst of course translating them for the viewer in the process)

I think it paints this famous confrontation in an entirely different light, personally.

NB: The backing 'music' which some people have complained about was actually present on the original field recordings. It seems this music 'appears' whenever the Gorn is around. Some specialists have postulated that he wears some kind of invisible transmitting device with sound projection capabilities beyond our conventional understanding. Either way, if you're thinking about this sort of thing too much you should perhaps try and turn your head into an anvil.

ANYHOO...

It's wierd, you know, but when I was making this video there was a crazy howling noise and my right forearm totally puffed up ! It had got completely windy inside it between the muscle and the bone. As a result the flesh expanded and, as the internal storm raged, a little bit of rain came out of my bottom. :-s

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced a similar situation whilst editing a video ? I'm kind of at a loss to explain it. Well, that and the fact that my chair disappeared while I was working,too - leaving me with a broken spine from the resulting (completely unexpected) fall. Mind you, it's all good, I've straightened out a coat hanger and inserted it into the base of my neck. It now runs hopelessly squint down through my torso, piercing several major organs on its way. I'm fine, though, aside from my vision not really working and the insane, screaming pain.

Anyhows, I'll go to the doctors tomorrow or the next day if it doesn't get better of its own accord. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the process of its creation !

PS: I just noticed there's a SPLIT SECOND where the crew of THE KIRK are visible. That has completely ruined this entire experience for me and pulls this whole thing down to the rank of UTTER AMATEURISM. I employed 400 Chinese people in one of them 'DATA FARMS' to do this video and mark my words someone is going to get WHIPPED TO WITHIN AN INCH OF THEIR LIFE for their error. Maybe even CANED TO DEATH.

I'll also be asking for my money back, it's not like I really HAVE 11,000 pounds to throw around willy nilly. I'd looked upon this as being some kind of an INVESTMENT. Guess I've mugged myself off this time :-s
