A very special place

Camphill Community Glencraig near Belfast UK is home to almost 200 people. It provides care, support, education and work opportunities for children and adults with learning disabilities. It comprises of an adult community with both residents and day placements, Glencraig Curative School and Young Adult Training College.
The aim of Camphill Community Glencraig is to ensure that community members are given every possible chance to lead fulfilled and dignified lives. This is achieved through home life, meaningful work opportunities and a broad range of social and cultural experiences.
Glencraig adopts a holistic, therapeutic approach toward the provision made for children and adults with learning disabilities, which is known as Curative Education and Social Therapy.
