in the hills the sv 650 will win, in the racing the zr7 wins.

the SV is faster in making the curves, but where you can go >100km/h the zr7 will take over SV 650.

I ride a mint '84 Gpz 750, the grandpappy to the ZR-7S. The GPz having a different head "polished and ported stock at factory" I have 12hp on the ZR-7S "87 crank"

I had some punk on an SV 650 pull up beside me 2 years ago, give me a laugh and then hammer the throttle, laughing. Well, I hammered my throttle as well. At about 100km/h I reeled him in then left him. Man, I had the last laugh.

Reading many a mag test, the SV 650 will top at 200km/h. The ZR-7s at 212km/h.

It was a race, it was my friends bike, we raced up and down several times and swapped bikes and tried again, the sv is 160kg the zr7 is 210kg!!! The SV out brakes the zr7 massively too, the sv650 also has better cooling, and lower riding position.

THE SV is 70 hp at the rear wheel but its cuz of stock gearing!it has alot more at the crank shaft! like every thing else is measherd by!!!!!

Zr7 arent tyhoss most classy of bikes but they get you from A to B but the sv 650 will easlñy take care of the zr7 =)
