The sheer genius of Carl Laemmle, founder of Universal should be required reading for all those interested not only in Motion Pictures, but in American Corporation building. From nothing he rose to power, taking on Edison, Kodak, and others attempting to force him out of business. The history of Universal is unlike any of the other studios......with his son Julius (Jr. Laemmle) Universal Pictures produced some of the most memorable motion pictures in history.

What happened to the words on screen between the video shots> Can't read it at all.

When I was a little girl(late '60's-early '70's)and my family and I went to Universal Studios often, they really didn't have ANY rides. All there really was was the tram tour, and shows.That's back before they had all that junk with Universal CityWalk, which just has brought too many people and too much traffic to area today.
