  • Those teeth are no longer available. I left the dental industry without leaving any record on how to make them.

  • This video is about the Overlay Cosmetic Appliance that has concealed hooks for retention and metal chewing surfaces for durability. Unfortunately this appliance is no longer available because dentistry wants to preserve the big profits made on crowns and veneers. After the story was aired on NBC news stations in 2004, a few dentists determined to cash in on its popularity, with the help of the media, started advertising a plastic appliance that has been around for thirty years.

  • NBC reported this story first and right after the story was aired, it went in a different direction on other news networks. Why?

  • BRING THESE BACK ! ! ! I can't afford even $1500- I'm on an extremely limited income. People deserve to have an alternative to look good, without having to spend their grocery money to have a lovely smile !

  • any dental lab can devise a way to make some of these. no record necessary. if he made them, anyone can, especially the pros in a dental lab

  • snap on smile

  • i would have really benefited from this :(

  • where do you get these teeth

  • Whats the plastic appliance ??

  • Never give up. Maybe you can find someone overseas. I went to a dentist who showed me an example that were made for him/his practice and they looked clownish. He said that he was recruited by the manufactures, but wasn't very excited about them.

  • This video is about the Overlay Cosmetic Appliance and not the Snap on Smile. It has a metal understructure which is similar to a dental bridge but costs much less. Because there are no capable dental technicians left, I contacted dental manufacturers to help me modify existing equipment to ease the construction process. After everyone refused to help, I decided to leave the dental industry and left no records how the appliance is made.
