Guns from fast and Furious have been traced to at least 200 Mexican crime scenes and you claim that this is a sad attempt to find a scandal? are you fucking kidding me??? how is this not a scandal? we're talking about our government allowing 1,000s of guns to flow into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. the program started under bush in 2006. Law enforcement thought it would be an effective way to take down large scale traffickers it was, by all accounts a failure until it was shut down. the acting dir of ATF and USAG in Phoenix have both resigned. there's nothing left to the story i'd guess but for some embarrassing emails where the WH says they're nervous about what Glenn Beck will say abou this on Fox. Of all the scandalous failures of Holder's office- this is a joke.

Op F&F started under Obama without even the safeguards that were used in earlier Ops, and the Mexican Gov wasn't informed before hand on this Op as it had been in the first two.

I don't see this as a scandal.  A scandal has a tone to it that is some what harmless to the Nation. A scandal is some one tring to save face after something they did was stupid. This gun was an act to subvert the bill of rights.

It might not have been a scandal until Obama declared executive privilege in not releasing those papers. One of Obama's campaign promises was a transparent White House.

Fast and Furious was not begun under Bush. A similar program was. The differences are that Bush's was done with tracking devices in the guns and with the cooperation of Mexican authorities. When the vicious drug cartel began to detect and remove the trackers, it was ended. Fast and Furious began in 2009 with corrupt and deadly differences. Sneaky and underhanded.

I have to disagree the government distributing thousands of guns to criminals is a pretty big scandal. I mean just reread that first sentence, how is that not a scandal?
