Hi everyone, I was at this concert, the last time I saw him live and "The Gift You Are" was indeed the last song of the night. I will never forget it was the last song that I ever heard him sing in a live setting and has remained a very special song to me for that reason. My then 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter were at this show with my wife and I. They still listen to his music today.

I certainly envy you and everyone who was at that wonderful concert in Conneticut. JD was on fire! What an amazing performer he was.

I only saw him once myself. That was in 1977 in Dublin. He came to Ireland many times since, but I never got to see him again. Alas!

Oh yes it was a great show, though I don't know if my choice of slides fully did justice to his great performabnce!

It is a pity it ends cold with 'The Gift You Are'. I suspect there may have been a few more songs.

But, that quibble aside, JD put on an amazing show at Oakdale. There will never be another like him.
