This is what tsunami survivors taught me about PTSD (post-traumatic stress): It does not have to be a disorder. Rather it is warrior emotions. This warpath consists of 5 feelings. PTSD can be healed if the warrior learns to love again, changing the call to battle into the call to heal, recognizing triggers and how long the emotional reaction lasts, regulating passions, and finding ways to end the warpath over and over through acts creating self, family, and community.
