  • I love working on Indie projects for the very reasons your talking about. The best sleep for me is the sleep at the end of a looooong day on set overcoming the weather, the wonky equitptment, the crappy location, the clunky writing, whatever. Those obstacles and the energy and creativity used to over come them are what makes it all special and worthy of my time. Glad your going to the festival!

  • @Svenguy You're so right ... those obstacles are ones that are totally worth it when you see the end result. A sense of working towards a common goal and all that.

  • Hello,Cazzie.

Good points. If people don't go along at your speed to your goal, find others who can. Your dream is the most important goal.

  • @Blargaldalien Thanks Blargal. Agreed.

  • Great video! Found it from Lisa's. You and Lisa both are very inspiring. My dream is to own my own bakery, the winter months are always really slow for me and recently it's been a nice break. With two kids and two jobs I'm very busy already but LOVE cake decorating and photography. I was asked last week why I gave up my dream of a bakery and didn't know how to answer. It made me think instead. Have I given up my dream? What have I done to work towards it? Needless to say, I needed these videos!

  • @Alycatpepper Wow! I'm so happy that my rambling inspired you! It's fantastic that you're asking yourself those important questions. I firmly believe it's almost never too late to work towards your dream. I look forward to seeing some pics of your cakes!

  • @LisaMurray Thanks Lisa! I kind of rambled on a bit but yeah, the gist is that things are going to get in your way no matter what job you do, so it needs to be worth it!

  • Great video Cazzie!! Yeah, there are going to be problems no matter what path we choose, so we might as well choose the one we WANT. :-)
