  • Kate was always superb.

  • Kate's voice is so soft and sweet, make me think of my Father and Uncle's fightin' the Axis in WW2.

  • I am in my 79th year andI remember, as a young boy, listening to Kate Smith on the radio back on the farm. Listening to her was a weekly event in our house. Tonight I heard again the many songs she made famous sung in her incredible voice. I still think of her often as the one singer who set standards and examples that many of the singers of today can't begin to emulate.

  • Stday I went there and listened this orchestra in my boat. It was really unforgettable !

  • Kate Smith was blessed with an incredible instrument -- HUGE -- almost a "heldentenor" quality and perfect pitch! I always admired the way she presented herself -- something pop siingers today could learn from -- she always dressed APPROPRIATELY for her age and weight and NEVER stuck that confounded microphone in front of her face! She looked directly to the camera and engaged her audience.

  • Kate Smith was gifted with one of the best singing voices of the 20th Century. Plus, she knew how to communicate the words of any song she sang with conviction and inspiration. We'll never see her like again. . .pity.

  • Wonderful song. I feel sorry for the brainwashed shills who look at this music as "boring".

  • I love Kate smith, and not just because her full name, kathryn, is spelt like mine, she sings beautifully :)

  • You took the time to write "you suck" on a kid's video, so I took the time to check out your videos. Wow. You're about as exciting as a bag of nails. Might want to look in the mirror before you start putting others down.

  • brilliant song, must take a big Glenfiddich
