( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 03.

Progress for the win! :D Before I say anything else, let me just point out that when I say "daughter/son moment" in this video, I actually mean "MOTHER/son moment". Jeez. I'm an idiot. I love that I didn't even notice when I was speaking, haha! Okay, so here's another snippet from today's chunk:

"They were here," Cole said, bringing his hand up from the ground, dry earth clinging to his fingertips. "Three of them. A female and two males." Arms draping over his knees at the wrists he continued to scan the ground, looking slowly this way and that before he glanced up to those who had followed him. He was not surprised to see Gareth and his father there, Tafari too. Wherever the Alpha went beyond the manor house, the senior fighter was sure to follow.

"Vampires?" Gareth inquired for confirmation.

"Vampires," Cole said to him, certain, nodding his head. "All three."

"Can you follow the trail?" Gareth asked the question in a way that told Cole the Alpha already knew the answer, or that the old male expected only one response.

Cole gave it to him. "I can."

"Then do so." It was all Gareth said before transforming again, triggering the others to follow suit.

Feeling REALLY GOOD about NaNo right now, so I'm frustrated that I have to lose a chunk of writing time in order to go to work, of all things :( Boo. But as I say in the video, I might write more later, and if I do, you can all expect another video from me :D I hope everyone else is slugging along, and good luck for the rest of the day! HEARTS!

4K is great, don't sell yourself short! To be honest, a lot of my 10K is utter waffle and therefore useless. A lot of it is just rambling and filler :( But I do pride myself on being crazy! :D

Thanks, hon. I'm happy that I hit the 10K mark, still kind of surprised with myself, took me much longer last year, to be honest. Aww, back pain must have played havoc with your ability to concentrate properly, sorry to hear that. Hope Day 4 was kind to you! <3

Dear Clez,

Congratulations! Great to hear you are past the 10,000 K word mark! NaNoWriMo Day 3. I wrote 4,088 words, 8 words more than the day before. Yeah Tuesdays are my long day at work & was simply exhausted with lower back pain. But I wrote something. Wednesday is my check in with the Artist's Way Circle week one recovering a sense of safety.
