@KpopManiacSFL If you look at the Chinese chronicles the Chinese did not have knowledge of the concept of the zero; if was diffused from India. Only three areas (maybe two) are known for having "discovered" the concept of the zero independently, and they are: India, Babylonia, Maya region. Everyone else just borrowed and added on to it.

@landovida True, India and Arab mathematics shared their knowledge and produced many mathematical advances which was shown to Europe through the Moors. The concept of zero was from India, but zero AS A NUMBER along side other numbers originated from Babylonians and the understanding of negative numbers and zero was from China.

The Renaissance started to flourish when the Byzantine scholars fled to Italy after Constantinople fell to Ottomans. And the so called Arabic numbers are actually Indian. This is not objective history, this is advocating, exaggerating and half-truths. Maybe people will take you seriously if you make some accurate documentaries instead of accusing others of rewriting history.

These were not Arabic numbering system, it was Indian. The arabs learnt it through their trade route to India.
