  • This is related to Grossman's writing, I believe the issue that most people have with self defense is that they don't believe that they can harm another human being and this is a hindrance, they have bought the folk stories about honour, glory etc when the truth is that there is nothing good about being able to mess someone up and all violence that you do will change you, you don't come off without consequence, people need to come to terms with that otherwise have a hole in their defenses.

  • @LosBats A very good point you brought up Edwin thank you for the comment and watching. You are right self defense is not about honour but going home at the end of the night.

  • I did my homework, read the speech and i think i am somewhere between a sheep and a baby pup sheep dog :D, honestly. As a kid i was kind of a boxing bag for other kids but at least i have the resistance to hits on my side from that. I get why some people are in denial and, not wanting bad things to happen, they simply choose to ignore evil and what may happen. I like role playing in my mind, helps the mind stay vigilant, and if something should happen then i won't be surprised. Great video!*bow*

  • @VickThorrable Thanks Vick I am sorry that you were a boxing bag for other kids that is not right. That is good that you are a baby sheep dog. I am glad you did the homework and had fun with it. None of us want to think there is evil out there but there is my friend and we just have to be aware of it , not scared but aware and enjoy life . Thanks so much for watchin the video your comment , points. etc.

  • @BUST0BIWAN K Dog I love the 500 Miyagi points thanks bro.

  • @Calimantalkin Yes my friend the way you train is the way you will react. The grey man I can understand that what you are saying. Good for you.

  • @DTGtaihojutsu came back and watched, you made some good points. There is another term that actually fits me better called grey man. I am not a cop or anything, just a guy that can't watch. The story about the woman in the elevator is classic, I have always been an advocate of sparring with some contact. The way you train is the way you will respond when there is no time to think.

  • @TheDemzlyChannel Thank you Nephew

  • @Greatbear1982 Thanks Joel Sensei I appreciate the comment and you watching.

  • Fantastic video
