Re Northeast Philly comment. Yes. I see some people doing it the way I remember too. I also see the one singer do it a little right at the beginning. This stomp I remember is a little bit like the shuffling that you see now like in "Party Rock Anthem."
This is the first video I've seen in which it looks like some of the crowd is doing the Bristol Stomp the way we did it in Northeast Philly in the 60s.

The difference between Jerry's voice and Len Berry's is a pretty minor difference. This fellow puts the song across just fine.
