I've got a D15z1 swap with an HF transmission in my 1991 Honda CRX HF and it gets 66 MPG on the highway. The original D15B2 got 48 MPG. When gas goes to 5 bucks a gallon, I don't care how fast I can go, it will be how far can I go. It's still way better than the stock HF engine at 67 HP.

if ur not happy with the power, save money and make it a mini-e or mini-me :)
thats what im planning with my vtec-e

I'm also happy with this engine. I drive a Civic ek3 and i love it :)

my z1 with a p28 cracked louder than any b series ive ever heard. its only because 1 valve on the cylenders open until vtec thats why its a nasty crossover. my z6 you cant hear it but its alot faster

It's my first Honda..I know that it isn't a B16A2 or B18C4..and it's obviously that D15z1 is not a real vtec becouse it's vtec-e (ECONOMY)Someday I will bay real vtec but presently I have this one and I'm happy of this.
