  • I see Ivor at IP has done another of his favourite mechanical fastening jobs using glue again to fix the motor in place,the 0-4-0 and 0-6-0 chassis rely on epoxy to hold the gearbox to the motor,not the way things are done in engineering,for the sake of a few pence and producing a proper metal bracket fixed to the motor using the mounting holes on the motor provided.

  • Well, you are right, but funny thing is, none of my IP things have come apart. The only thing I am not happy about are the nylon gears.
