  • Billy cocked hat was written by Don Bilston in the 1960's I still sing it! Look forward to seeing you at a club or festival. I am at Ryedale festival on Bank holiday Monday.

    Nice to hear your voice again, I often saw you perform in folk clubs in the early 80s (and often preceeded you as a floor spot). I even have one of your records (A poor mans gift). Any chance of you singing the song about the Navvy with the chorus "With me billycock hat, silken waistcoat, corduroy trousers tied at the knee". I remember you used to sing it and have been wanting to learn it for years, but can´t find it anywhere.
