  • Growing up in NY I remember this individual and his engearing message. I'm sure this man was blessed by his honesty and faith in Jesus Christ many times over. Thanks for posting a worthy message and God Bless Always, WPIX.

  • OOOO, Bronx Convention! I grew up on 152nd off Westchester, which is now the bad part of town, but I loved Fordham Road's shopping zone. And, of course, this video brings back molto memories of them far off times, when most of my gifts were bought from Alexander's.

  • that announced 12:30 Star Movie presentation of "Godzilla King Of The Monsters" was actually WPIX' Science Fiction Theater (with the same spiral graphics), and it too has finally made it here on You Tube!

  • a most excellent message...great delivery!

  • Merry Christmas big guy, rest in peace.

  • Wow.....brings back memories when I was in grade school, but I hear and grasp that message so much better now as an adult. Great post... thank you

  • It's sad that we don't learn from this message from the late former Gen.Manager and V.P. of WPIX TV Ch.11 NYC.

  • Just beautiful. Christmas with a capital "C". God bless and thanks for sharing this wonderful message of hope for all.

  • it really is something to behold....it is amazing to see that such a beautiful message could be broadcasted freely without suffering repercussions of such actions from naysayers who protest that such a message is "intolerant". I don't know about the rest of you, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing such a commercial put back on the airwaves. One can certainly hope.

  • @bjroberts65 And you are right about the Bronx pizza being the best. Have not been to City Island in over 20 years, I wonder if the quality is still good as it was in the old days. I can remember sitting in traffic on that one road into the place during the summer. It was nice "back in the day" as my kids say, when you could go out at 2AM and get something to eat. Take care, Bronx buddy.
