it is, theres like, a seperate tank in the plane thats filled with it, it mixes in the with water and prevents it from forming small droplets, so it covers an area better, its pretty enat how it works, we have it in our engine.

well im not that slow i udnerstand what they hover on the lake for, from what i heard from a friend they also use something thats white im assumeing its the retardant you mention..

No its not, its water, thats why the land on the lakes, to fill up. They add retardant in sometimes, but its water.
